Basic fantasy golf tips for this week AND top rankings

OHL Classic Updated: Tuesday, November 10th, 2015 Once Mexico’s only PGA Tour event moved to the wrap-around season with full Fed-ex Cup points, the field has improved. It’s not world class by any means, but a lot of good players along with some rookies that are hoping to take advantage of an easier course with an easier field to get those coveted Fed-ex Cup points and tour exemptions. This week our stats are straight-forward, with a full course history, a 131-player field and a normal 36-hole cut. Once we get into the members area, we’ll let you know more about which statistics we’ll be using and some important news that could affect the outcome of this one. Value Matrix If you like value, then Smylie way down in Tier 4 is your guy. In the top Tier, it’s hard to pass on the play of Jason Bohn (and his love of this course). But no one loves the course more than Chris Stroud this week, which is why he is topping the Tier 2 section. A note that Fred Funk made it into the bottom Tier, even though his win in 2007 pre-dates our statistics. Something to consider at that price and the need to be accurate rather than long at Mayakoba.

We offer our Value Matrix for everyone to view. In this unique matrix, we give a break-down of value picks based on DraftKing’s prices and our overall matrix results. We organize the players into a 5-tier system based on salary for that week and give them a star-rating. Unlike most fantasy stat sites that spew the results of all players over the last 10 years for you to weed through, we only include players entered into the tournament and condense our matrix into just the last 5 years. Why only 5? Because golf courses change and players age or their game can drop off. We put greater weight on the most recent years and concentrate on several key areas, including top 10 finishes, top 20 finishes and cut makers. Our Course matrix comes up with a clear picture of who has been out-performing the field on the coming week’s course. box2 Statistical Matrix Fantasy golf has an enormous amount of statistics to analyze. We pick what we feel are the best indicators each week and build our Statistical Matrix based on these numbers. From the obvious, like shots gained putting & shots gained tee-to-green, to the course-specific not-so-obvious like par-5 birdie or better or going for the green, we cover the numbers that indicate a player’s ability to shoot low that week. We absolutely love statistics and can’t wait to make our weekly adjustments based on the tournament course. box3 Hot/Season Matrix The Hot Matrix and Season Matrix are much more simple, but just as important. We look at who’s been the hottest over the last 10 tournaments putting more mathematical weight on the latest tournaments. We also look at season results to determine who’s playing well, making cuts and racking up top 10 finishes regardless of their track record on the course. They get a bump in the overall Golf Matrix if they’ve been making cuts and scoring low or have been playing hot.

Way to GO METS !!! been a good week in Fantasy Baseball

Way to go mets, what a game it was 5-2 with a wild pitch at the end, to make it official, Im just glad I pick the right players, when it came to the royals blowout 12-2 I wish I may, I wish I might of pick those jokers, if I knew they were going to score that much but that's just part of the game.
Daniel Murphy did pretty good and set a record for the most home runs by a Met 5 consecutive playoff games since Carlos Beltran. The winning pitcher was Jacob deGrom who gave up only two HR's to Kyle Schwarber who in fact i had to scratch at the last minute because i felt the royals was going to do some damage and thats good i did..and also to Jorge Solar.
Who else you think, that would be a big impact and its worth the money to play in fantasy baseball " CUBA " Yonies Cespedes doing good for himself with a couple of hits of his own and scoring on a wild pitch. While Familia saves the day again with a great ending one more to go and here we comes and welcome back World Series back to Flushing

DraftKings PGA: Tour Championship Picks

TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP Purse: $8.25M Winner's Share: $1.485M FedEx Cup Points: 2000 to the Winner Location: Atlanta Course: East Lake Golf Club Yardage: 7,307 Par: 70 Defending Champion: Billy Horschel Sponsored Note – First time depositors can try DraftKings for FREE! Click on this link and draft your PGA team for a shot at $40,000 in prizes. Tournament Preview The elite 30 players who have survived will now head to East Lake for the official season-long FedEx Cup finale, the winner taking home a cool $10 million and (impractical) five-year exemption on the PGA Tour. The par-70 East Lake is the childhood course of Bobby Jones and hosted the 1963 Ryder Cup, but lost its luster for a few decades only to be revived in 1993 when it was restored as a tribute to Jones. The FedEx Cup points reset for the final leg, mathematically ensuring each player a chance to win the FedEx Cup. Newly-crowned World No. 1 Jason Day, along with Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler, Henrik Stenson, and Bubba Watson are guaranteed the title with a victory this week because of their top-5 status in the standings. All others will need to win and get help from those ranked higher to claim the massive annuity. Key Stats to winning at East Lake • Recent Form • Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green Past Champions 2014 - Billy Horschel 2013 - Henrik Stenson 2012 - Brandt Snedeker 2011 - Bill Haas 2010 - Jim Furyk 2009 - Phil Mickelson 2008 - Camilo Villegas 2007 - Tiger Woods 2006 - Adam Scott 2005 - Bart Bryant Champion's Profile East Lake has been the annual stop for the Tour Championship since 2004, producing great champions by default of the 30-player exclusive field. However, it's pretty clear the past champions know a bit about striking it well tee-to-green, with the possible omission of elite putter Brandt Snedeker. In a small field of elite players who outperform a typical PGA Tour field, the winner is almost certain to be an elite ball striker who brings an unusually hot putter. As we saw last week, players like Jason Day who have found form the last month and are top 10 in the standings are obvious targets that can't be ignored. DRAFTKINGS VALUE PICKS (Based on Standard $50K Salary Cap) DraftKings Tier 1 Values Jason Day - $12,500 (Odds: 10/3) Rory McIlroy - $11,700 (13/2) Jordan Spieth - $11,000 (8/1) DraftKings Tier 2 Values Justin Rose - $9,800 (Odds: 11/1) Dustin Johnson - $9,100 (16/1) DraftKings Tier 3 Values Zach Johnson - $8,500 (Odds: 18/1) DraftKings Long-Shot Values Paul Casey - $7,500 (Odds: 50/1) Brooks Koepka - $7,300 (50/1) Scott Piercy - $7,100 (75/1) MY PICKS THIS WEEK Lower-Risk Cash Game Lineup ($50K Salary Cap) Rickie Fowler - $10,300 Justin Rose - $9,800 Zach Johnson - $8,500 Daniel Berger - $7,200 Scott Piercy - $7,100 Kevin Na - $7,100 With the salary structure this week there are no ultra-safe lineups given the heavy-tailed distribution, so I mirrored the lineup accordingly with three safe players and three trending but risky options. Fowler, Rose and Zach Johnson are elite players in great form, each winning at least once this season. Piercy and Berger finished second and third respectively at the prestigious BMW Championship last week, and Na posted a nice T10 effort. The hope is for two of the risky guys to repeat last week's form while the top three safe guys do their normal thing to form a nice blend of predictability and risk. Higher-Risk Tournament Lineup ($50K Salary Cap) Jason Day - $12,500 Dustin Johnson - $9,100 Paul Casey - $7,500 Brooks Koepka - $7,300 Jimmy Walker - $6,900 Steven Bowditch - $6,700 In case you haven't heard, Jason Day is now World No. 1 after another dominating win at the BMW last week to post his fourth win in six events. Even with just 30 players in the field, it's ludicrous to ignore Day in the name of differentiation. There will be plenty of duplicate lineups regardless of how crafty you might get, so focusing on the best players is your best bet. Dustin Johnson is fresh off a top-10 last week and was fifth in his last trip to the TOUR Championship in 2013. Paul Casey has enjoyed a revival season and was T4 in his only appearance at East Lake back in 2010, an eerily similar year to this one. Brooks Koepka found his form this summer, but despite a slight drop-off the last month, is a good course fit for East Lake. Finally, Jimmy Walker and Steven Bowditch have just one combined year of experience at East Lake and mediocre form, but this is the necessary evil for selecting Day and DJ as the top two in the lineup.

What a horrible week there was in fantasy Baseball and the playoffs

What a horrible week there was in fantasy Baseball and the playoffs First of all if you went against the 5 teams that got postponed I feel your Pain which I lost all 5 players due to rain delay or postponement which is not Refundable but in all its been a bad week for our superstars … Bryce harper in a fight which nobody won , I hope the team mates could get along I haven’t picked MCcutchen in maybe a week the days I should of pick him I think It was good for only a few days. On top of the fight with harper when I did picked him He went 0-4 with 1 walk should I repeat my self at $6000 it was no where near his value With the playoffs coming soon I hope it ends well with our fantasy teams good luck to you In the future I guess it will be football picks for me now on..
